can I interrupt when I am running ./wrf.exe?

can I interrupt when I am running ./wrf.exe? I choose the serial not the parallel, and it is too slow. I want to change it.

Please recompile WRF in dmpar mode, then run wrf.exe using multiple processors. This is the only way we can speed up WRF run.
