Can WRF read in/use ocean surface current data?

Dear WRF Community,

I'd like to know if WRF-ARW can read in ocean surface current data as a bottom boundary condition, similar to SST? And if so, does WRF use that surface current data in its surface layer schemes when computing fluxes? I wasn't able to find any guidance on this topic in the User Guide or any Forum posts, so any help would be appreciated.
