Dear WRF community,
I have met a problem when converting continental&global landcover products to WPS static binary files.
(1) When converting MODIS annual global land cover MCD12Q1, after mosaic and format transfer, it yields a binary file sizing 86400*43200. How to decompose the entire binary file into small tiles (2400*2400 or 1200*1200) as in the geog static file modis_landuse_20class_15s?
(2) When converting Corine land cover, after mosaic and format transfer, it yields a binary file sizing 101055, 37778. However, the naming convention for WPS is five digit as *****.*****-*****.*****, which can not represent 101055 (beyond 99999). How to solve this problem?
Thanks.
