Convert land cover raster data into WPS tiles

Dear WRF Community,

I have Land cover high resolution data in tiff format over my domain which I need to convert to USGS classification system (USGS 21-class) accepted by WPS. I was recommended to use GIS4WRF plugin in QGIS to do that. Has anybody tried it and how to do that? I haven't found any guides on that.

Unfortunately the team at NCAR does not have experience with this, but hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist you.
