Creating map images of the domain boundaries

Hi! I’d like to make a visualization of the boundaries I’m making for each domain. Do you have any recommendation how to do it? I attached some images from published papers for reference of what I want to accomplish.

thta's from the wps plotgrids_new.ncl script in the wps utility program (the large image) the smaller image i'm not sure about.

you can find the plotgrids_new.ncl utility in this folder location

By the way, which photo are you referring to as the “large image”? I attached two images, one is with a label “Fig. 1 … Ostergarnsholm” and the other is with a label “Fig. 2. WRF modelling domain…”

fig 2 is the larger image
fig 1 is the smaller one
