The Environmental Resilience Institute at Indiana University is hiring a Data Scientist/Software Engineer to provide data management and software engineering support for complex modeling systems on the high-performance computing environment. The successful candidate will provide support to researchers conducting climate, vegetation, and hydrological modeling via software installation, customization, code development and/or upgrading modeling systems. The successful candidate will also coordinate data sharing among a broad diversity of PfEC researchers, data formatting, archiving and visualization, as well as assistance in down-sampling and converting data for customized uses.

Initial deadline is 11th October 2018, but the position will remain open until filled.
