Does using "wrf.g_uvmet.get_uvmet" always return U,V as unstaggered?

Hello,

I'm using the wrfpython function "wrf.g_uvmet.get_uvmet" to get the earth-relative U,V. The new U,V also seem to be unstaggered, but this is not detailed in the documentation. So, does this function always provide unstaggered, earth-relative wind components?
