Hi, Can you let me know the following?

1) Which idealized case are you trying to run?
2) Which version of WRF are you using?
3) When you compiling WRF, which processing option did you choose (e.g., dmpar, serial, smpar)
4) Can you let me know the command you use to run WRF?
5) If you have error/output files (e.g., rsl.error.* or if you directed the output to a file), will you please attach those? If you have multiple rsl* files, please package them in a single *.tar or zipped file and attach that.
6) Please also share your namelist.input file.

Never mind. I'm really sorry. It was actually my mistake to set the wrong number of eta_level, which didn't match e_vert and caused an error.

Hello, dear kwerner. i run the em_convrad case and the simulation continue for 30 seconds and stop without any error information. it happend many times. can you help me find out the problem? the namelist,input_sounding,rsl.error.* are attached.

Hi, Since the new error you're getting is different than the original one posted here, will you please start a new thread for that error? Please attach the files and any relevant information, such as the fact that you're running the em_convrad case. Thanks!

Dear Kwerner, please forgive me. I have found the reason: the input_sounding I generated myself did not reach the height set by ztop. In this case, the simulation does not produce an explicit error but stops automatically after running for several tens of seconds.
