I was recently researching how to perform 3DVAR in the WRF-ARW model, and I came across SUMMER TUTORIAL 2017 "WRFDA Practice"
I have a question: I want to generate my own domain-specific be.dat file using CV option 6 and 7. My research area is in the Western Himalayas, covering Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in India. Should I generate the background error statistics file tailored specifically for my domain, or can I generate one over the whole country of India and still use it over my domain?
