GFS downloads taking significantly longer for specific dates

Hi, I've been running 1km WRF runs for past dates one day at a time. (edit) With over a month done, WRF is starting to take significantly longer to download gfs files from the NCAR archive for each run all of the sudden. The process usually takes 5-10 minutes but is now taking 2-3 hours. I'm looking into issues on my computing environment end but was wondering if it could possibly be an issue with NCAR or WRF. Any suggestions welcome

Hi,
The download of input files should not be related to the WRF model. If it is a problem with NCAR's servers, you may need to contact the support group in that department to see if they have any suggestions.
