How can I calculate the aerosol-induced diffuse radiation and direct radiation using the output variable “SWDOWN” in the “wrfout” file?

Hi all,
we already have some standard wrf output using RRTMG radiation schemes,but without 'SWDDIR' or 'SWDDIF'. Currently the only relevant variable in the wrf file is SWDOWN, is there any way to approximate the aerosol-induced diffuse radiation and direct radiation?

You may need to modify the Registry file and recompile the WRF.

Thank you very much for your answer, but we have now simulated 20 years of hour-by-hour standard wrf outputs, and recompiling the wrf to simulate it again would be difficult.
