How do I correct the surface roughness?

Hello, everyone!
I need to adjust the surface roughness by increasing the friction velocity by 1.5 times within the boundary layer scheme (ACM2 PBL) in WRF codes (version 4.1) to reduce the high wind speed biases. However, I'm not sure how to modify the relevant parameters. Could anyone provide some advice?

Please take a look at the file VEGPARM.TBL, in which you can modify the values of Z0MAX and Z0MIN, which will change the roughness. By increasing their value, you may decrease surface wind speed.
 
Thank you for your prompt response. I have found the appropriate documentation, but I am unsure which land types require changes to the Z0MIN and Z0MAX values. Could you provide some suggestions? Thanks again.🤝

It depends on the landuse type used in your specific domain. You need to find this information, then make changes accordingly.
