I run a data assimilation experiment, and came up with issue with updating boudary condition. I begin a simulation at 2017082118 using FNL 6-h data and spin up 7 hours ending at 2017082201. I made a data assimilation at 2017082201. After assimilation, I need to update the boudary condition file "wrfbdy_d01" based on analysis file. I use da_update_bc.exe to update the wrfbdy_d01 and the da_update_bc.exe work well. However, I don't know which time the boundary conditions have been updated. Only the nearest time 2017082200 or the times before 20217082201? Hope for your help. Thank you!
