How does heat flux affect 2-m temp?

Trying to understand how WRF calculates 2-meter temperatures; specifically, how does heat flux affect the calculation?
 
The heat flux can be written as
heat flux = Ck*(Ts-T2)
Given the heat flux, Ts is surface temperature, Ck is exchange coefficient at 2m, T2 at 2m can be derived.
The Ck function is based on similarity theory.
