Hello everyone,
I am working on running the WRF model using Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) data obtained from NRSC (National Remote Sensing Centre), India. I would like to know whether it is possible to use NRSC LULC data in the WRF Preprocessing System (WPS) for model simulations.
I have the NRSC LULC image file and would like to convert it into a suitable format that can be used by WPS and WRF.
Could anyone please guide me on the following points?

Could anyone please guide me on the following points?
- What are the required steps to process the NRSC LULC raster/image file and convert it into a format compatible with WPS?
- How can I assign the appropriate land-use categories to match the land-use classification scheme used by WRF?
- Do I need to modify the WPS geogrid configuration, GEOGRID.TBL, or any other files to use NRSC LULC data?
- Where can I obtain NRSC LULC data suitable for WRF simulations, and are there any existing datasets or preprocessing tools available for this purpose?
- Has anyone successfully integrated Indian NRSC LULC data into WRF/WPS? If so, could you please share the workflow, scripts, or relevant documentation?
