How to get a coarser variable-resolution mesh

I need plot the variable-resolution figure just for show to help other peple understanding the variable-resolution . But the variable-resolution meshes data in MPAS website are too refined. For example, 92-25km mesh, I plot the mesh and mesh too dense. So I need a coarser variable-resolution mesh data, So I can plot refinement region in my interesting area. Maybe 480-80km is suitable for me, or other resolution suitable for show you have used before.
