How to get a more accurate diabatic heating term?

I am using WRF version 4.3.1. Is RTHSHTEN only available when the shcu_physics scheme is activated?
For tropical cyclone simulations, is it necessary or appropriate to use shcu_physics in order to obtain RTHSHTEN?
I just want to get a more accurate diabatic heating term Q
