How to use the MODIS Albedo data in the WPS

Dear all,
I am new to WRF and considering using the MCD43A3 albedo data in the WPS process. In the MCD dataset, there are lots of bands I just wonder which band I should use (such as the 'Albedo_WSA_vis')? The correct way to change the albedo is to generate GEOG data like 'albedo_modis' or not? Thank u so much!
 
Hi,
You will need to read MCD43A3 data, write to files with WPS static data format, and run geogrid.exe to process the data. This could be a complicated process. Please see the documents for detailed information:
