Note that U and V in TS files (time series output ) are earth-relative, while U and V in wrfout are grid-relative. This explains why there are differences between winds form TS and wrfout files.

Thank you, Chen, after my examination, I found that ts.UU is the same as the U inside wrfout instead of ua, they are stagger.

Also, I found out that they are half-model outputs, which is consistent with your instructions, thank you very much!
