No RSL output with WRF 4.0

Hello, I'm trying out WRF 4.0 but notice that all output goes to std.out and not the typical 'rsl.xxxx.out' and 'rsl.xxxx.error' files. Have these been depreciated in WRF 4.0? If not, any idea why those files aren't being created?
