NoahMP with NLCD data

I ran into a problem with choosing NoahMP and NLCD 2011 (40 categories) data. It seems that NLCD land cover data is not compatible with NoahMP land surface scheme. Is this true? Is there any way to make NoahMP run with NLCD data (like modifying the GEOGRID.TBL, VEGPARM.TBL, or other tables)? Thanks very much.

NLCD 2011 covers US only.

I know. I'm simulating U.S. only.

Hi,

NoahMP only works with USGS and MODIS.

If you want to make it work with NLCD, you need to modify NoahMP codes.
