Research focused on assimilation of a wide range of in-situ and satellite observations into WRF to improve cloud forecasts
Work in collaboration with NCAR/RAL/NSAP
Requirements:
Ph.D. level degree in atmospheric sciences
Proven experience in WRF modeling
Expertise in Linux operating system
Expertise in running WRF using MPI in High Performance Clusters
Excellent English writing skills
The position is for one year with possibility of an additional year extension.
