Development of a high-resolution WRF forecasting system

Research focused on assimilation of a wide range of in-situ and satellite observations into WRF to improve cloud forecasts

Work in collaboration with NCAR/RAL/NSAP

 Ph.D. level degree in atmospheric sciences
 Proven experience in WRF modeling
 Expertise in Linux operating system
 Expertise in running WRF using MPI in High Performance Clusters
 Excellent English writing skills

The position is for one year with possibility of an additional year extension.
