pressure/height plots with vectors

Hi,

I have been trying to plot a height/pressure - longitude plot.
I know NCL has wrf_user_vert_cross, however, can I use wrf_user_vert_interp first to interpolate the data to pressure level ,then rcm2rgrid to interpolates data to a rectilinear grid, and at last gsn_csm_pres_hgt_vector to plot U and W component of wind ?
