retriving data at particular pressure level when using only e_vert and p_top_requested

I am using only e_vert=42 and p_top_requested=5000 in my namelist.input. I am not declaring any eta levles.
My doubt is does the e_vert divides the pressure level of vertical heights equally?
i.e. the pressure difference between the consecutive levels will be 22.61 hpa? or it will be different.
