I get this error with seas_opt = 0 and it disappears with seas_opt=2. Could you tell me how to solve it.

Hi,

It looks like you've got a problem in the cloud activation routine - it makes sense that switching off seasalt emissions would stop this, as it would remove one of the sources of aerosol from your simulation. From the log file it looks like the problem *might* be in domain 2, and that the error is in the calculation of w (vertical velocity). I suggest running with just your outer domain - to see if you still get the error. If it is the inner domain then look at your settings for nesting (I would switch off feedback for a start, this tends to give strange cloud field patterns in the outer domain), and look at the stability of your inner domain (perhaps trying a damping option in the dynamics might help).



An extra error in your namelist is this:
auxinput5_inname = 'wrfchemi_d<omain>_<date>',
It should be:
auxinput5_inname = 'wrfchemi_d<domain>_<date>',
(notice the missing 'd' from your code).

I don't know if correcting that will have a large impact on your simulations (I'm surprised that your simulation didn't stop with an error about not finding the emissions files - so perhaps it is not an important error), but it's sensible to have your namelist as correct as possible.
