We are trying to assimilate the vertical profile data (temperature and humidity) derived from Infrared sensors from Geo-satellite sensors. For this, we converted our data into Little-R format and sent these observations through AIRSAT (FM-133) platform to WRFDA. Due to the presence of dense observations, we are trying to thin the data. For the trial and error method, we consider the two thinning options (thin_mesh_conv = 30.0 and thin_mesh_con = 300.0). In both cases, all observations are imported into the model (it is observed in gts_omb_oma_01). For more detailed information, please find below-attached files.
Please give me solutions/suggestions to overcome this problem.
