Upscaling and regridding WRF vs satellite

Hello,

I have a 1km WRF simulation and a 3km Seviri GEOS satellite image. I would like to know how can I carry out an upscaling in order to have both data at the same resolution. Moreover, I would like to carry out a regridding so as to have both in the same grid, but as well as I know WRF has a curvilinear grid, I do not know which grid does Seviri has. Does anyone know?
