Using ndown to force inner domain chemistry

Greetings,

Using a parent domain, I have generated a wrfbdy and wrfinput file for an inner domain. For the inner domain, do I need to set have_bcs_chem = .true.?

Hi Stefan,

After using ndown to create a wrfbdy and wrfinput file for an inner domain, then you should setup your namelist for wrf in the same way that you set it up for an outer domain (because this is, essentially, how the wrf executable will view the domain). So yes - do set "have_bcs_chem = .true." for your new domain.
