Hi,
I am using wrf_user_vert_cross along with gsn_csm_contour. The name of the variable however shows up on top left corner of the plot even though I have set

res@cnInfoLabelOn = False

How can I get rid of the variable name on the plot?

If you are by chance using any of the wrf plotting routines, it often automatically adds labels. A way to remove it would be to add this:

res@gsnLeftString = ""
