In the WRFV4.5 version, chem_opt=112 (MOZCART_KPP) originally, the TAUAER1–TAUAER4 variables were declared with the Registry flag <r>. We changed that flag to <rh>.
Earlier the optical-depth variables could be calculated internally, but without the history flag they were not configured for normal wrfout output.
After changing the flags and rebuilding WRF-Chem, we confirmed that all four variables appeared in the output and had nonzero values: hope this is fine.
