I have successfully compiled WRF V3.9.1 using an Intel compiler with an older version of openmpi. However, I'm wanting to update the version of openmpi to something newer. I believe this would require me to recompile. If I simply recompile with Intel and a newer/different version of openmpi, is it necessary for me to reconfigure or perform ./clean before I recompile? Forgive me, but I didn't see any information regarding this exact query anywhere else. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
