Dear WRF Team,

I am wondering whether aerosol-aware Thompson Scheme mp_physics = 28 can work with aer_opt = 2 J. A. Ruiz-Arias method.

Would this be any different with Thompson scheme mp_physics=8 work with aer_opt = 2.

aerosol-aware Thompson Scheme ( mp_physics = 28 ) only works with aer_opt =3.

aer_opt = 2 is an aerosol input option for RRTMG radiation scheme.
