Any recommended values for a given vertical level layer for WRF?

Dear WRF users,
I am new in town and trying to figure out how to specify wrf vertical layers for my study purpose. Wonder if there any recommended values for specific vertical layers such as 60 layers to start with?

Hi Jinbo,
If you do not set eta_levels, and simply use e_vert = 60 (for example), the model will give reasonable values for your levels. You only need to set them yourself (using the eta_levels option) if there is something specific you want to do, and have a reason for wanting particular levels.
