Hi,

Are you referring to using a higher resolution that is available with our WPS static data packages (http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/download/get_sources_wps_geog.html) - i.e., how to change the namelist to incorporate the higher resolution? Or do you have an outside high-resolution data set that you would like to use instead of the packages we provide?

Take a look at this section of our Users' Guide. You can use it to guide you with converting your dataset to the binary format expected by the geogrid program:

Some of the slides from the "Advanced WPS" talk that is given at WRF tutorials may also be helpful, in particular, slides 2-24 of this presentation: http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/tutorial/201801/wps_advanced.pdf .
