Climate Simulations using WRF

We are planning to run WRF in Climate scale?
Kindly help in this regard.

Is WRF capable for long-term Climate simulation?
if Yes, What could be possible combination (may be multiple combinations)
What is the processes (per-processing of data, model compilation, configurations)?
Please proved any references/technical notes to support the climate simulation using WRF
What are the differences in configurations for climate vs meso-scale/seasonal?

Yes WRF has been widely used for cliamte simulation.

if Yes, What could be possible combination (may be multiple combinations)

The most important option is sst_update. You must turn on this option.

What is the processes (per-processing of data, model compilation, configurations)?

Nothing special for climate simulation, You follow the normal steps to run WPS and REAL, then move on to run WRF.

Again, the most important option for cliamte simulation is sst_update.
