Compiling WRF with PNETCDF on Cheyenne

Hello,

I have been trying to compile WRF with PNETCDF and I have not been successful so far. I have wrfbdy files with very large size and I was wondering if using PNETCDF would help improving the speed of reading from the files. Is there any set of instructions on what environmental setup is best to compile wrf with PNETCDF on Cheyenne?

Hi Mahdad,
Do you have the PNETCDF_PATH environment set in your configure.wrf file? If not, try setting that to see if that helps.
If you are still having problems, can you either attach your configure.wrf file, along with your compile log, or point me to your Cheyenne directory where you are attempting to compile this?
