Computing for Potential Vorticity Tendency

Good day!

I would like to ask how to compute for the potential vorticity tendency (PVT) from a wrfout file. The equation for the potential vorticity tendency is shown below. Thank you very much!

WRF doesn't have the capability to output PVT. The following documents may provide general information how to do the calculation.
