Conus 2.5 km benchmark

I was looking conus2.5 km benchmark (Index of /WG2bench/conus_2.5_v3) simulation. It is a restart simulation using a single domain of 2.5 km resolution. I was wondering how was this resolution achievable without using nesting... I don't really see the layout. Are they using high resolution input meteorological data? Enormous ratio between domains?

Hi, the benchmark case you're referencing is a very old one and unfortunately I don't have much information about it. We have since updated the benchmark case. Take a look at that one and let us know if you still have questions.
