CUDA-accelerated WRF configuration

Dear Colleges,

I am intersted in running the WRF model with acceleration using CUDA. Is it possible to significantly improve (accelerate) the WRF run-time using CUDA?
If yes, how to compile (configure) or run the WRF model with this option?

Hi,
Unfortunately at this time we don't have the capability to use GPU's to run the WRF model. The group at NVIDIA has experimented with this, and to my knowledge, has completed some of the components of this, but I'm not sure if it's ready to use. You may try to contact them to see if they have any additional information.
