Default SST for WRF ARW?

Hi, Im running WRF ARW v4.1. I'm a bit new and I'm running 24 hour forecasts. Currently we give WRF a custom satellite SST, and fill the Gaps with NOAA RTG. However, if RTG neither are available WRF still runs and I have no idea what is uses for SST. Is there anywhere where i can see this SST input or documentation on the product being used? I cant seem to find it anywhere in WPS

Hi,
Typically whatever type of global input data (e.g., GFS) you're using to force the model has some sort of SST data that it uses.
