Hi,
I am running WRFv3.9.1.1. I noticed that most fields in my wrfout file have a discontinuity near the boundary, including for variable smooth by nature (e.g. T2 or Q2). No discontinuity is visible at the starting time, it appears later. (see attachment 'discontinuity in T2.field')
I ran the default case and the Katrina case from the online tutorial, and observe a similar discontinuity (see attachment).
Is this discontinuity always occurring in WRF simulations? (and I should just remove the area near the boundary during the post-processing)
Or is it be a problem with my initialization? (I attached the wrfinput, wrfbdy and wrfout files from the default case).
Best regards,
Camille
