Hi everyone,
I initially expected that WRF would yield similar results for domain 1 variables, regardless of whether it was run with a single domain or with three nested domains (with two-way nesting turned off) for the same settings.
However, during the simulations—one with only D01 and one with three nested domains (two-way nesting off) using the same settings—I observed differences in the diurnal cycle of surface variables, such as T2. For instance, when comparing RMSE of T2 for D01 at coordinates (70, 60), the results varied.
What could be the reasons for these discrepancies?
Please find the attached images and the namelist file, where I only changed the `max_dom` parameter between 1 and 3.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Chetan
