I am writing to ask if anyone knows if the existing post-processing tools - including RIP, ARWpost, WRF Python utilities etc - should already work correctly with the hybrid vertical coordinate data in WRFv4?
My guess is: yes, there is already sufficient information in the WRF history files for these tools to correctly interpolate in the vertical for height / pressure / isentropic-level plan-view and cross section plots.
Is this true?
Thanks.
