errors when trying to use ncview

Hello! I recently tried to run an ideal simulation on cheyenne using WRF. It appears to have been successful, but whenever I try to use ncview to look at my output, I am given an error message saying,

''Note: could not open file /glade/u/home/mfranke/.ncviewrc for reading

Error: Can't open display:''

I have ensured I have ncview in my module list and I have also downloaded XQuartz as well hoping that it would solve my issue but I am still receiving the error.

Are you trying to use ncview in cheyenne? if so, please contact cislhelp@ucar.edu. I guess this is an issue related to your environment setting.
