Getting the average of the hour rather than instantaneous

Is there a way to get WRFOUT files to contain the average of the hour rather than the instantaneous value. I'm thinking that adding do_avgflx_em = 1 to the Domains sections seems to be what I want, but I'm not 100 % sure. Can anyone advise?

Hi,
The 'do_avgflx_em = 1' option outputs history-time averaged, column-pressure coupled U, V and W for downstream transport models. So this would only work for velocities. I'm not aware of any other option that will average the fields for each output. That is likely something you'll need to do with post-processing.
