In a previous forum, Dr. Ming Chen suggested running REAL first and then manually specifying the vertical levels. When the REAL run is complete, where should I look for the automatically generated eta_levels?
In wrfinput file, you can find the variable ZNW, which gives eta values on full model levels. This is what you need to look and follow it to modify eta_levels in your namelist.input.
