How is the SNOW_ACC_NC is calculated, the snow precipitation amount? Is it estimated by a microphysical scheme? In other words, does the SNOW_ACC_NC variable mainly depend on the microphysical scheme used?
Artur,
Yes, I believe the value can differ, depending on the physics options you choose. The value of prec_acc_nc is essentially the value of RAINNCV (the time step nonconvective precipitation), so whatever value that has, based on the way it's processed in the physics, is the value you will receive for prec_acc_nc.
