How the surface layer scheme interacts with the land surface parameterization in the WRF model

Hi!

Do the surface turbulent fluxes (sensible and latent heat) simulated from the WRF model only depend on the computations performed in the surface layer scheme (e.g., revised MM5 surface layer scheme)? Or does the land surface model (e.g., Noah-MP LSM) also affect the final output for these two variables?
If so, please explain briefly how the two schemes interact with each other.
