How to develop LULC for 3 urban classes

Dear WRF community,

I would like to understand the procedure for preparing LULC for 3 urban classes (31,32,33 representing high density, medium density and industrial respectively).
As well as I understand NLCD is mainly for US, and CORINE is for Europe. If I want to prepare urban classes for Korean peninsula region are there any LULC datasets which I can use?

Are there any descriptions of each urban class which I could use for developing 3 urban classes? Could please any recommend a source link?

Have you looked at the dataset "CGLC-MODIS-LCZ_100m" that can be dowloaded from the WRF website:

This is a high-resolution global LULC dataset, which should include urban data for Korea Peninsular.

@Ming Chen , I am sorry, but can I use this dataset with WRF v4.5 only? or its possible to use it with older versions such as WRF 4.3 and WRF 4.4.

You need the new geogrid table that comes with WPS v4.5 (GEOGRID.TBL.ARW_LCZ), I'm not sure if it will do if you use this table on version 4.4 or 4.4.1
