How to remove a TC in the boundary condition

Hello,

Is there a way to remove a TC in the boundary conditions in a WRF run?
I tried the TC bogusing scheme before but it is only for relocating the center of the vortex.

Any suggestions on how I can do this in WRF?

I'll appreciate any help.

I would suggest you modify the model domain so that the TC is away from the lateral boundary. This is because we need to interpolated data booth spatially and temporarily to produce lateral forcing. The interpolation inevitably will introduce errors and also miss the rapid evolving information of a weather system like TC.

By the way, we have no utility to remove TC from lateral boundary. If for some reasons you need to stay with the original domain and remove TC, you will need to create a scheme to do so.
